  • Kindly submit your portfolio by filling out the submission form below. Please refrain from dropping off portfolios at the gallery, as submissions are accepted exclusively through our online portal.

  • There is a submission fee of $35 per piece. For example, if you are only submitting one item, the fee would be a total of $35. If you are submitting two pieces, the fee would be $70, with a maximum of three pieces per artist for this show. Please note that we will not be charging tax on the submission fee, and the fee is subject to change depending on the specific show.

    • Artists must not submit more than 3 images per application

    • Artist name, address and telephone number.

    • Images must be in JPEG,JPG, PNG format, no larger than 3MB each.

    • Each image must include the title, dimensions in inches, medium, year of creation, and retail price.

    • Commission (60/40 split in favour of the artist )

    • Include all art related social media handles

  • We extend a warm welcome to individuals beyond Ontario and Canada; however, artists are responsible for shipping arrangements. You can locate our address in the 'Contact Us' section.

APPLICATION Portal

The Jackalope gallery eagerly invites submissions of recent contemporary works from artists of all backgrounds. Specializing in original contemporary and fine modern art, our exhibitions feature a diverse range of mediums including mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, photography and functional pieces crafted from glass, ceramic, fiber, and metal.

To ensure each submission receives proper attention, we kindly request that portfolios not be brought into the gallery. Instead, all applications should be exclusively submitted through our online application form. We appreciate your patience as we thoughtfully review each submission in our dedicated environment.

Accepted works may be used for advertising purposes by The Jackalope Gallery, and artists are required to have their own insurance as the gallery is not liable for any damage or loss.

Submissions will undergo a jury process with a non-refundable submission fee for each piece. All artwork must be available for sale, properly prepared for display, and labeled on the back.

Sales from the JOY show will result in a 60% commission to the artist and 40% to the gallery, with a best-in-show award determined by popular vote and a to-be-announced prize.

The Jackalope will actively promote the show through various platforms and expects participating artists to also contribute to advertising efforts to maximize exposure and engagement.
